I partially feel like no one could REALLY actually post that they liked diamonds better...
I'm going to do it though.
Just in Aesthetics I think that diamonds are just a more versatile stone, and they are pretty but as of late, I'm going to have to say No stone. haha clearly, as Seye so cleverly figured out, even rubies are "blood diamonds."

If seye's right, then you are clever. If that's not what you meant, I would choose a ruby over a diamond any day of the week. Diamond's are cliche

my birthstone=ruby, but i'd take a diamond any day (i'm a classic girl... what cant i say)
